Sad news for Ehd-e-Wafa’s fans!

Ehd E Wafa is making the rounds on social media after every week’s episode. The ISPR and HUM TV collaboration has proven to be a fresh and out of the box drama to come out in quite some time. The drama has a lot of reasons to be liked. The hilarious dialogues, the relatable situations, characters, its and the actors we all love and adore. The way the drama has picked up and is maintaining a flow episode after episode, the director Saifee Hasan needs to be commended for it.
With 7 episodes in, Ehd E Wafa has us fully invested in the lives of all the characters and what will happen next has everyone’s curiosity piqued. However a concerning situation has engulfed the team at the moment!
As per Epk’s sources, the shooting of 15 episodes has been done so far, however now the drama seems to be in bit of a jeopardy. Firstly, the script of the drama is not complete and so far the script for 17 episodes has been finalized. The shoot schedule needs to be planned for 5 episodes in a row and at the moment the director is uncertain when the script of 5 more episodes will we ready!
Secondly, misfortune has struck the actors of the drama as well which is also worrisome. Turns out the lead actors are down with Dengue. Ehd E Wafa’s locations are spread all over Pakistan ranging from Punjab to Northern Pakistan including Murree, Abbottabad, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Lahore and Islamabad.
Unfortunately both Ahad Raza Mir and Wahaj Ali have become the latest victim of this year’s dengue outbreak. Both the actors are now in the recovery phase as both were diagnosed with Dengue couple of weeks back. That means makers have eight weeks to complete the script followed by shoot and at the same time they would want that the stars have been recovered completely from dengue well in time.
Both Sajal Aly and Asif Raza Mir are abroad hence they could not be reached at the moment to get an update on the health of Ahad Raza Mir. However we did get in touch with Wahaj Ali. The good news is that he revealed that he is now recovering as he got hit by dengue a couple of weeks back. Well we hope that the shoot of the serial completes in time and we wish Ahad Raza Mir and Wahaj Ali a speedy recovery!
